Introduction: Introduce your
president by telling something special about him. Include interesting
information from your notes. Give FACTS. Do not begin with "My
president..." Create your What, Why, How
Body: Write
several paragraphs about your president using the following seven questions.
You must research at least 4 of the 7 questions. With this
information, write a paragraph or paragraphs answering the questions or
detailing the information and adding interesting facts you find. NOTE:
Question #7, accomplishments, is the most important question. Up to
ONE-HALF of your report should be used top answer #7. EVERYONE MUST
answer #7.
Conclusion: Write a summary
that tells about your president and why he is special and interesting.
Remember to restate your beginning introduction into an ending conclusion.
Summarize what you have learned.
Bibliography: You must use at least 3 sources to find your
information. Write your bibliography using the format provided in you
packet. It should be the last page of your report.
Illustrations: You must
have at least one illustration, which will receive extra credit.

Like? Include: Date of Birth, Parents, Siblings, Education,
Schools, Colleges 2. What was your
President's family like? Include: Wife, Children, Nieces or nephews or
cousins if significant.
3. Give personal information about your President.
Include: Height, Weight, appearance, Religion, Estate, Ancestry, Quotes
4. Describe his career previous to politics. Include:
Jobs held, Training Received, Achievements
5. Describe your President's Military Career. Include:
Branch of Service, Period of Time enlisted, Active Duty, Achievements.
6. Political Career Prior to Presidency. Include:
Political Party, Positions held, Elections, Dates of Service for each
position.
7. Describe his Presidency. Include: Date first
elected, Age when first elected, Political Party, Vice President(s),
Reelections.
Spend lots of time and space on ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
What did he do (Good and Bad) while he was
president?
What was happening in the nation and world and what did
he do about it?
Explain thoroughly what he tried to do and /or did
while he was president. (This is the main section of your report.
At least one-half of the body should be here.)
