11:25-11:55 AM Center Time (Guided Reading Groups starting in January) Handwriting practice in small groups as well

12:50-1:20 PM Specialist on Days: 2, 3, 4, and 5 language arts activities/Writer's Workshop Mini-lessons--on days 6 and 1
1:25-1:55 PM Independent work, math instruction, and/or social studies and science activities
1:55-2:00 PM Drink and Bathroom Break
2:00-2:15 PM RECESS
2:20-2:35 PM Snack, Sharing, and Read Aloud
2:40-3:10 PM Center Time and Guided Reading Groups (starting in January) and handwriting practice in small groups
3:10-3:15 PM Read the Room/Clean up
3:15-3:20 PM Pack up and line up for the bus!
***This is just a sample of our day---please note that the schedule may vary as needed. Also, "math instruction" includes daily routines and calendar activities which are done throughout the year. There will also be math games from the Investigations program at center time.
Please
remember
that every other Friday is a half-day! Students do need to
bring a healthy snack and a sack lunch with a drink as they will be in the lunch
room.

PM:Day 2: Library, Day 3: Music, Day 4: PE, Day 5: Computer Lab
