June
In June I saw a charming group
Of roses all begin to droop.
I pepped them up
With chicken soup!
Sprinkle once, sprinkle twice,
Sprinkle chicken soup with rice.
The Swimming Race
The washcloth and the soap
Had a swimming race.
The soap blew some bubbles
In the washcloth's face.
The washcloth could not see
With soapsuds in its eyes.
It swam around in circles
Crying frothy cries.
But then the slippery soap
Grew soft and came undone.
It sank down to the bottom

A Robin
When a robin cocks his head
Sideways in a flower bed
He can hear a tiny sound
Of a worm beneath the ground.

Plant a seed in nice warm soil

Penny, penny, easily spent.
Copper brown and worth one cent.
Nickel, nickel, thick and fat.
You're worth five cents, I know that!
Dime, dime, little and thin.
I remember you're worth ten!
Quarter, quarter, big and bold.
You're worth twenty-five, I am told!

Five Little Mice
Five little mice running past the door,
One went inside and then there were four.
Four little mice climbing up a tree,
One reached the top and then there were three.
Three little mice hiding in a shoe,
One crawled out and then there were two.
Two little mice shaded from the sun,
One scampered on and then there was one.
One little mouse seeing day was done,
Crept into his nest and then there were none!
